The Glen Innes Arts Council welcomes you to the Chapel Theatre

Footloose: At the end of August 2006, the Glen Innes High School treated us to 7 concerts of the musical "Footloose" at the Chapel Theate. I was lucky enough to see one of the early performances because all subsequent ones were sold out. On behalf of the Glen Innes Arts Council my congratulations to everybody involved and I'd especially like to point out to all of the youngsters, who performed with such energy and obvious enjoyment, that your ongoing welcome at the Chapel Theatre is assured. Footlight: I have a source (although he is as biased as blazes he looks at least a little bit honest, from some angles anyway) who tells me this production of Footloose has outsold every other Arts Council production. Ever!! If that's true, that is absolutely brilliant guys - well done again, great to see that performing arts in Glen Innes has a great future. (Of course, the upcoming production of Nunsense is going to leave that record for dust, so you better get busy planning for next year!) Footrot: (Don't tell anyone but apparently Grease, J.C.Superstar and Fiddler on the Roof all sold around 1500 seats!)
