Flickerfest - Best of Australian Shorts!
As Australia’s premier and only Academy® accredited International Short Film Festival, Flickerfest received over 1600 entries in 2010 with only 97 films chosen for the final competition. From these highly accomplished films in the prestigious Australian Competition, Flickerfest has curated the Best Of Australian Shorts Programme.
The Best of Australian Shorts programme features recent multi-award winning Franswa Sharl, 2010 Oscar® nominee Miracle Fish, and crowd-pleaser Celestial Avenue, winner of Flickerfest’s Madman Award for Best Australian Short Film.
After the highly successful ten-day Bondi Beach festival of award-winning shorts, Flickerfest toured the nation until the end of March this year and is very pleased to have the opportunity to present the Best Of Australian Shorts Programme again, this time in Glen Innes – reloaded!
